This means 1 receiver can be programmed for freqs within that particular freq. range. The MINITOR IV handles tone frequencies between 280 and 3400 Hz. UHF frequencies covered are 406 to 430 and 450 to 512.

Other synthesized products have specific rules for which frequencies can be programmed, does the MINITOR IV have similar rules?
Yes, the MINITOR IV operates via a microprocessor with a specific step frequency. This only allows frequencies that are divisible by .0050Hz.
