Many times customers walk into a bank lobby only to find a teller with another customer. Typically the teller is waiting for a signature or has a question for one of the managers, etc.
Long Range Systems has developed a unique paging system for significantly improving customer service within the banking industry. Basically, the paging system is comprised of 2 components:
T9503 Paging Transmitter – These transmitters are located at each teller's desk and have three buttons. Each button can page a certain pager. For example, you may need the vice president's signature. Second, you may need a clerk to begin typing a money order. Instead of leaving the customer or waiting for a staff member, you simply press one of the three buttons, and a staff member comes to the teller. These transmitters are operated by a single 9V battery and can send 3 precanned messages to a manager or staff member.
Numeric Battery-Operated Pager – This 16-digit pager works with all staff paging transmitters. It can receive numeric messages or precanned messages. When activated by a teller, it can display which teller has paged.
