The Butler' is a very simple transmitter that activates either the Star Pager series of pagers or our battery-operated line of pagers. The unit is self-contained and does not require any special wiring or mounting hardware. It can last up to one year before the battery needs replacing (depending on your usage).

Butler has 4 independent triggers. Two triggers are normally open and two are normally closed. The triggers use contact closures and not voltage to sense an activity. Each trigger can send a unique message to Star Pager. As an example, if you have programmed trigger #1 to display "4," then every time it is tripped, a "4" light will show on the Star Pager. If you'd like, the Butler can be configured on a PC w/the included software.

Butler can activate either all pagers or just 1 pager. For example, you may wish to notify just a manager when a door is opened instead of alerting the entire staff.

Each Butler is shipped with four 6' cables and two magnetic switch sensors for doors. Essentially any relay closure can be connected to the Butler making it easy to interface to many different products such as temp sensors, water levels sensors, etc.

Optional Accessories for the Hearing Impaired:
Telephone Ring Detector – When connected to any standard phone outlet, this sensor can alert a pager when a phone is ringing.

Sound Detector – This sensor causes the pager to activate when a loud sound is heard, such as a smoke detector or a window breaking.
